Today, many models will pose for anyone for a paycheck, but it was different during the 1980s and 1990s.
The relatively short modeling careers of some of the greats, like Lisa, Devon Daniels and Jeannine Oldfield taught the lesson that when models like this are available, photograph them as much as possible before life gets in the way.
SCORE publisher John Fox remembered one of his favorite models. He was the editor of the defunct Gent magazine at the time.
"As a university student, Lisa Phillips could only shoot with us during summer break or other school holidays. When she was available, we would try to shoot her as much as we could. Sadly, Lisa's posing only spanned a few years."
