"Tracy was from Bristol, England and was a student there but would travel to London to be photographed as her schedule allowed," recalled editor John Fox. "Like so many young, novice models, she was shy at first and wasn't comfortable showing pink.

"Since the domestic British magazines didn't show pink and because those were the men's magazines with which Tracy was familiar, she was caught off guard when photographers kept asking her to open her legs for the more explicit shots. So, Tracy's first shoots were tame by American standards but, with a figure like hers, no one was complaining."
