Veronica moved from Chicago to Dallas, Texas and was discovered dancing in several topless clubs. Kayla Kleevage discovered Veronica and photographed her for August 1997 and February 1998 Voluptuous.
With Texas rebounding from the oil bust in the 1980s, Dallas was a great city for strip clubs and a magnet for young exotic dancers from all over the US. Kayla lived and danced in Dallas during the 1990s and created her own production company. She saw potential in busty Veronica but the cheerful brunette didn't pursue modeling. Many models often stare at the camera without expression. Not Veronica. She had a look of joy in most of her photos, and it was natural.
